Well there you have it! Tonight’s American Idol top 2 has finished with a bang with Phillip Phillips singing the song that will be his first release off his album when he wins the American Idol title tomorrow night.

Notice I said “when” he wins. He came out with a blast for the entire night.

Not that Jessica Sanchez didn’t do her thing because she did. The problem is she sang ballads all night and it didn’t move people to the same position that Phillip did with his upbeat tempos.

She sang her ass off as she did all season. Very beautifully too I may add. However, her first possible release song was corny as hell. Who wrote that, and who thought it was hot?

Whoever it was needs to be shot… They cost her the title.

I’m not too sure she would have been able to compete with his arrangement of orchestras and marching bands anyway.

Kudos to Phillip! I love Jessica but based on his performances tonight, he deserves to win.

I still voted for Jessica though, lol.
